Our Saint Spyridon Food Pantry is located in the community hall and serves needy area families throughout the year with food and clothing. During the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holidays, our Food Pantry serves generous food baskets to twenty-five families. In addition, thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, the Food Pantry Fund distributes gift cards and monetary assistance in excess of $10,000 yearly.
ORTHODOX MISSIONS
Our parish of Saint Spyridon has long been involved in the work of Orthodox Missions. From our Goyans raising funds for an Orthodox Orphanage in the country of Georgia, to our Sunday School students filling their OCMC mission boxes during Great Lent, to our adopted missionary priest from Columbia, Fr. Athenagoras and his ministry in Cuba, our community continues to preach the message of the gospel throughout the world. Our Orthodox Missions program to bring our Lord’s message of salvation to all who thirst for the water of Life, supporting in any possible way the overseas and home missions of our Orthodox Church. A donation box for our missions program is located in the church for your offerings.
