As one of the ministries at St. Spyridon, the athletics program has one simple goal: to build relationships amongst Orthodox Christians that last a lifetime.
Cherubs is a mommy and me playgroup that welcomes babies from 40 days to 3 years old.
A ministry for families with children from Pre-K to 5th Grade.

The GOYA, or the Greek Orthodox Youth of America is a youth ministry for 6th-12th grade students at St. Spyridon Hellenic Orthodox Church.
It is open to all girls from ages eight to eighteen. This organization is much like a junior Philoptochos whose main goals are to promote community service and philanthropic projects.
Consisting of about twenty members, the children continue to show their dedication through their amazingly beautiful psalmothia.

Today, the St. Spyridon Senior Choir consists of about twenty members who devote their time, energy and talents chanting the Divine Liturgy and special liturgical holidays.
Every other Tuesday, the Philoptochos Chapters of our Chicago Metropolitan area prepare and serve a warm meal at the Annunciation Cathedral on LaSalle.
Our Saint Spyridon Food Pantry is located in the community hall and serves needy area families throughout the year with food and clothing.
