Iconography School

On September 3rd, 2008, the St. Spyridon Hellenic Orthodox Church in Palos Heights  founded the Sts. Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Iconography School under  the leadership of Mr. Panagiotis Mihalopoulos.  Classes are open to all Orthodox Christians, children (ages 12 and up) and adults.   The sessions are held weekly at St. Spyridon's Church, where students learn step-by-step the techniques of Byzantine iconography.    

Classes are on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

New students are always welcome.  

Registration fee is $100/year plus supplies.
